Nightclub owner to Lindsay Lohan: Fur-get about lawsuit

May 21st 2008

Seems like alleged mink coat-stealer Lindsay Lohan might not learn her lesson after all.

The owner of New York's Prime nightclub and Suzie Wong Sake Lounge has offered to shell out big bucks to buy Lohan a blonde mink coat of her own, according to OK! magazine.

The "I Know Who Killed Me Star" is being sued by Columbia student Masha Markova who says the actress stole her $11,000 mink coat from a nightclub and returned it two weeks later without an apology.

John JE Englebert says he also wants to help settle the lawsuit. "I know what it's like to have mistaken identity," he explained. "Many times people take the wrong coat thinking that it's theirs at my nightclubs."

No word on whether Lohan will take him up on the offer.

Club King to LiLo -- Let Me Fur You Up!

A bigshot New York club owner thinks that the spoiled brat who's suing Lindsay Lohan over a filched fur is full of it, and he's willing to shell out baller money to bail her out of the suit.

We're told that John Je' Englebert -- who owns hotspots like Prime and Suzie Wong -- has offered LiLo the cash to settle the stupid-ass suit, and he's even throwing in a new $11,000 mink coat -- just like the one she allegedly walked out with by mistake.

TMZ sources tell us that pretty much everyone in NYC clubland is Team Lohan on this one, and not just because she's a great -- and we do mean great --customer. Turns out that Masha Markova -- the coat's owner -- is taking plenty of flak over the flap.
