Victoria Beckham: opening a boutique in Hollywood

Melrose Avenue has lately become home to a few internationally recognized fashion houses such as Max Azria, Miu Miu, Paul Smith, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg and others like Vera Wang and Balenciaga are expected to open soon. That is also where Victoria Beckham plans to open her own fashion store carrying her DVD line. Although Victoria’s line is already selling at Saks Fifth Avenue and a few boutiques around the country, this Rodeo Drive for the young is the place to have a store if you are a designer.

The new DVB collection, which consists of jeans, skirts and shorts, is currently being sold at exclusive stores since May (such as Saks Fifth Avenue), with global distribution scheduled to start in September. The denim collection featurea Japanese fabrics, contrast stitching, colored zippers, purple lining, and either a star or the DVB logo on the pocket. The jeans have a price ranging from $285 to $325. Forget the Victoria Beckham Crown jeans and get ready for the Star jeans…
