With The Sopranos off the air, fans will do just about anything to reconnect with Tony Soprano and his cohorts. Now, the opportunity to own a piece of Sopranos history has presented itself in to form of bricks.
The real-life location for the show's Satriale's Pork Store where Tony Soprano & Co. hung out, is being demolished, but lucky fans can literally own a piece of it. The owner of the building being ripped down has decided to sell the white stones of the store's facade.
The entire structure will be demolished next month in order to make way for a collection of condominiums named The Soprano. Manny Costeira has pulled roughly 2,000 bricks to sell for between $25 and $50 each. Each brick will come with a serial number and a letter of authenticity.
Manny Costeira told the Jersey Journal of Jersey City that the "silly idea" simply popped into his head. He did also say that he had received a few angry e-mails from fans wondering why he would demolish one of Tony's favorite hangouts.
