A paparazzo on a motorcycle was injured today when another paparazzo in a Range Rover made an illegal right turn and struck the man as they both were following Britney Spears in Beverly Hills, a police official said.

The crash occurred about 5 p.m. on Santa Monica Boulevard near Elm Drive when a paparazzo following Britney Spears collided with another paparazzo on a motorcycle about a mile from the Beverly Hills Four Seasons Hotel, said Beverly Hills police Sgt. Jay Kim.

The injured paparazzo was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with abrasions to his legs and arms, Kim said.

His condition was not immediately known, he said.

Britney Spears was not injured and had "no direct involvement" in the collision, Kim said.

No arrests were made and no citations were issued in connection with the collision, which Kim said appeared to be "just an accident."

There were no signs of alcohol playing a part in the accident, he said.
