Courtney Love Told to Butt Out!
After years of smoking, 42 year old rocker Courtney Love has been told by her doctors that she needs to quit smoking now if she wants to avoid surgery in a year. Love's doctor recently discovered pre-op nodules in her throat -- benign growths on the vocal cords.
Love writes on her website : "He guessed exactly how much I smoke too and told me I need to stop unless I want surgery in a year, and two or three days off on tour is not economically feasible, so my thin phase is gonna go soon."
Spoken like a true Hollywood star...she needs surgery for throat nodes but cares more about her "thin phase" going (typical). In other Courtney Love news she's apparently making an appearance tonight with Linda Perry at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, promoting her new upcoming album Nobody's Daughter.
