TNT's DramaVision set to hit the Internet
NEW YORK, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- The U.S. cable network TNT is set to launch its new DramaVision Web site next week, offering viewers streamable original entertainment and live events.
When the Web site begins service next Wednesday, its visitors will be able to view TNT original series, such as the Emmy-nominated "Into the West," and live events including the annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, said TVWeek.com.
One of the top-rated cable networks, TNT now joins the ranks of fellow cable heavyweights like ESPN and MTV in the expansion of its broadcasting onto the Internet.
"Through broadband presentations of our high-profile originals, original programming produced for broadband and tie-ins with our stellar lineup of series, DramaVision will provide drama lovers with the ultimate digital destination," said Steve Koonin, an exec for TNT and TBS.
TVWeek.com said TNT also plans to offer further original programming on DramaVision such as "Ripped from the Headlines," its co-production with Court TV.
