Bitter Macca Divorce Row
The divorce battle between Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills is getting seriously bitter.
Macca has frozen the joint bank account after Heather allegedly withdrew £1m in a month.
He also reportedly changed the locks on their north London home when Heather was out with their daughter Bea in nearby Regent's Park.
Paul, 64, and Heather, 38, split up in May after seven years together.
Macca, who's worth around £1bn, filed for divorce last month citing Heather's unreasonable behaviour.
He claims Heather reneged on a deal to take £30m for a quickie divorce - but she insists no financial deal has ever been discussed.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: "Sir Paul has well and truly cut the cord. The gloves are off."

And another told The Mail: "He has always been very generous with his money, especially towards Heather and their charities, but now that they are divorcing, the maxim "What's mine is yours" no longer applies."
Paul has also reportedly:
* Cited her rudeness to him in front of staff as one of the reasons for her split.
* Had his solicitor send Heather a legal letter after her nanny took three half-empty bottles of cleaning fluid from his Sussex farmhouse to clean Heather's nearby office.
Fired seven people from his New York offices - because he wants to cut all ties with Heather.
* Pulled out of performing at an anti-landmine charity event - because of Heather's involvement with the charity.
* Given up on a fight to stop the demolition of a timber lodge on his Sussex estate, which Heather had previously moved into.

By GORDAN SMART Macca’s move — after he discovered a series of four and five-figure withdrawals — came as the couple’s divorce descended into a series of bitter battles. Sources close to the pair said Heather is hell-bent on digging as deep as possible into the former Beatle’s £1billion fortune. One source said: “Sir Paul was disgusted by the obscene amounts of money Heather was withdrawing. “It seems she is determined to spend money while she has the chance before the divorce goes through.” Sir Paul, 64, has also changed the locks on their London mansion and fired off a legal letter after 38-year-old Heather took three half-empty bottles of cleaning fluid from the house. She is also believed to have infuriated the singer still further by clearing out some of their possessions. Heather — dubbed Lady Mucca after The Sun told how she had posed for porn pictures in her days as a model — has been living part-time in a lakeside lodge on Sir Paul’s Peasmarsh estate in Sussex. But the timber cabin was put up without planning permission and must be demolished. Sir Paul was ready to fight to save it but has now changed his mind. He was reported to have bought Heather a £500,000 converted barn near the estate. But The Sun can reveal it was Heather who splashed out on a “whim”. The source said: “Sir Paul has been concerned that Heather is spending his money for the sake of it. “Remarks about her being unhappy with the barn because it is on a busy road are complete nonsense. “She bought the house on a whim after their separation because she wanted to be near the Peasmarsh estate.”
Heather was snapped sneaking into the sprawling estate yesterday. She avoided security guards at the main entrance by opening a gate marked Private, No Car Access and taking her convertible Porsche up a bumpy dirt track. Pals have said the couple — who have a two-year-old daughter, Beatrice — can no longer stand the sight of each other and communicate only through solicitors. A family friend said: “Their split has degenerated into a vicious feud of petty point scoring.
“They used to love each other to bits. Now there is only hate. “Heather absolutely loves the Peasmarsh lodge but will only stay there when Paul is not on the estate. “When she does go she is extremely discreet and does whatever she can to avoid being seen by anyone, even her own security. This is why she uses the dirt track.” Sir Paul began divorce proceedings last month, citing Heather’s rudeness to him in front of staff in the divorce petition. Heather is said to have refused a £30million quickie divorce offer because she wants more. Sir Paul’s legal team is likely to use the fact she never told her husband about her porn past to try to reduce a settlement. |
